Join the National Kidney Federation Annual Event 2026 for a weekend of education, connection and community.

Taking place at The Grand Hotel in Blackpool, this annual conference brings together patients, carers, healthcare professionals, supporters and organisations from across the UK. The weekend includes conference sessions, an exhibition hall, networking opportunities and social events.

The venue is located on the Blackpool seafront and offers on-site accommodation for delegates.

Accommodation Information

Delegates can book bed and breakfast accommodation directly through the event booking process.

  • Check-in from Friday 3.00 PM
  • On-site car parking is FREE for NKF event attendees
  • All guests must register vehicle details at the hotel reception on arrival*

*Please note the car park is operated by a third party and failure to register may result in a charge

Rooms are limited and early booking is recommended.


Event Programme

Friday Evening Social

There will be a private social room available from 7.00 PM for delegates to meet, network and reconnect prior to the main conference day. This is an ideal opportunity to catch up with friends and make new connections within the kidney community, or see the sights of Blackpool, including the illuminations. 

Saturday – Conference Day

Day Pass £55 - Accommodation available at an additional cost.

The main conference day includes a full programme of speakers, updates and networking opportunities.

  • Registration opens at 9.00 AM
  • The exhibition hall opens at 9.00 AM
  • Official welcome at 10.15 AM

Throughout the day, delegates will have opportunities to:

  • Hear from leading speakers and patient representatives
  • Visit the exhibition hall
  • Network with charities, healthcare professionals and support organisations
  • There will be scheduled breaks for refreshments and lunch 

The conference will close at 4.00 PM.

Saturday Evening - Hot Buffet and Quiz

You can also book a place at the Saturday evening social event, which includes a hot buffet supper followed by the popular NKF quiz.

The quiz will be hosted by NKF's Pete Revell.

The evening begins at 7.00 PM in the Royal Suite and offers a relaxed, informal atmosphere to round off the day.
