The National Kidney Federation (NKF) supports over 3.25 million people in the UK living with kidney disease. We spend our funds delivering vital patient services, including the UK’s only dedicated national kidney Helpline, Peer Support Service, patient information resources, advocacy and campaigning, and support for local kidney patient associations(KPAs). Our work ensures patients and families have access to accurate information, emotional support and a strong national voice. 

Money raised from the draw will be used to support our Helpline and Peer Support services. All NKF services are provided free of charge to kidney patients and their carers. This includes access to our Freephone Helpline, which offers information, guidance and emotional support, as well as free educational literature covering topics such as mental wellbeing and coping with end-stage renal failure.

Our Peer Support service enables patients to have one-to-one conversations with trained volunteers who have lived experience of kidney disease. These conversations allow patients to discuss home dialysis, share similar life experiences, and gain reassurance from others who understand their situation. Our Peer Support service receives referrals from renal specialists and other kidney charities.

Our website receives over 50,000 visits per month.  With more than 200 educational publications, the NKF provides a vital and trusted resource for kidney patients, their families and healthcare professionals across the UK.

In addition to the Helpline and Peer Support service, patients also receive a copy of our quarterly magazine Kidney Life, monthly In Touch e-newsletters, bi-monthly educational webinars, and invitations to the NKF Annual Event.

No-one under 18 years of age may take part in the draws. Anyone under 18 years of age who buys a ticket will immediately forfeit the right to any prize.

We take our social responsibility to our supporters seriously and no longer accept credit cards as a payment for entry into the draws.
